The University of East London is having a one-night only architecture display, and it’s at the iconic Millennium Mills building.
Millennium Mills is the famously derelict mammoth of a building in docklands which is only now started to be renovated.
Details are scarce, but the University of East London’s architecture department has been working with First Base and the Silvertown Partnership, within the existing outline planning consent for Silvertown quays, developing and testing ideas to enrich the masterplan through architectural projects.
The projects reach into the future, when the gravity of London will have shifted east and when the effects of climate change become physically apparent.
For one night only the Millennium Mills will host postgraduate student architecture work from UEL MArch Unit 4.
