SUPPORT THIS WEBSITE

This website has been running now for over a decade, and while advertising revenue contributes to funding the website, it doesn't cover the costs. That is why I have set up a facility with DonorBox where you can contribute to the costs of the website and time invested in writing and research for the news articles.

It's very similar to the way The Guardian and many smaller websites are now seeking to generate an income in the face of rising costs and declining advertising.

Whether it's a one-off donation or a regular giver, every additional support goes a long way to covering the running costs of this website, and keeping you regularly topped up doses of Londony news and facts.

If you like what you read on here, then please support the website here.

Thank you

Having read the LR article just below, I call BS on this one.

  2. Maurice says:

Google adverts sitting smack in middle of the screen in both Chrome and Firefox browsers.

  3. Andrew says:

How can the new ads in the middle of the screen be closed or minimised? It’s almost impossible to read the site now which is a real shame.

  4. Steve says:

I removed the ads yesterday but they are now back and seem to have increased in number, like others have said one is right in the middle so not very easy to read which will make my visits stop until the issue is sorted out. I did report the ads but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears.

  5. Andrew Gwilt says:

I’ve heard that its 88 railway stations on the London Overground network that are having ticket offices closing down. Unless it is 65 stations that ticket offices are to close.

These pop up adver5s ruin what was a pleasan5 weekly blog. I will end my subscription if they don’t. Writing some of this blind as pop up ad has popped up
