About the Dorich House Museum
Dorich House is the former studio home of the Russian sculptor Dora Gordine and her husband the Hon. Richard Hare, a scholar of Russian art and literature.The building was completed in 1936, to Gordine's design, and is an fine example of a modern studio house created by and for a female artist.
The Museum holds the world's largest collection of Gordine's work, which spans her artistic career. Also on permanent display is an important collection of Russian art and artifacts, acquired by the couple during their marriage.
Weather permitting, visitors can go onto the roof for spectacular views overlooking Richmond Park.
