History of Blackhorse Road station

14th Dec 1981The mainline station was rebuilt by British Rail on 14 December 1981, to provide better interchange with the Underground station.
1st Sep 1968The Victoria line station opened on 1st September 1968 on the other side of the road from the mainline station.
9th Jul 1894The mainline rail station was opened by the Tottenham and Forest Gate Railway on 9 July 1894, and was originally situated on the eastern side of Blackhorse Road.
