Description
Charles Jamrach was one of Victorian London's leading dealers in exotic animals.
This display explores his role and impact in the exotic animal trade and upon popular culture in Victorian times.
Objects from the Horniman's collections and prints will offer an insight into how exotic animals came to be such a familiar sight in Britain and how the trade operated.
