Lutyens Walk from Trafalgar Square to St Paul’s Cathedral

Paul Waite of the Lutyens Society will lead a walk looking at Sir Edwin Lutyens work in the City of London

Sir Edwin Lutyens was a prolific architect. Whether because he was driven by artistic passion or by his family situation has been debated by biographers. But while more than 500 of his creations have been placed on the National Heritage List for England, there are innumerable other works, both large and small, that are not known. Many of these are in London.

This walks takes us fromTrafalgar Square through to St Paul’s discovering the little known City of London work by Edwin Lutyens. We will take in the exteriors of 16 different works including offices and monuments.

The walk is led by Paul Waite, a Trustee and Chair of the Events Committee of the Lutyens Society.
