Following this screening, its producer, Pierre Spengler, will be interviewed on stage about his key part in the making of Superman: the Movie. He also produced the sequels Superman II and Superman III.

The classic superhero adventure from 1978 stars Christopher Reeve in the title role. Its cast also includes legendary actors such as Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman and Terence Stamp. This much loved and hugely successful film charts the origins of Superman; his escape from the doomed planet Krypton to his first encounter with the villainous Lex Luther.

Please note that the film will be screened from an old 35 mm print, so there may be occasional slight scratches. However, it's certainly deemed to be of an acceptable quality.
