Opera Holland Park Open Day 2017

Fancy having a nose around Investec Opera Holland Park, sing on our stage or conduct our orchestra? Then make sure to mark Sunday 23 July in your diary for our Open Day…

We’ve got lots of free and fun activities for all the family to enjoy and plenty of tea and cake, which all makes for a fabulous afternoon out.

Minute Maestro – 2-5pm – you will have the chance to conduct our orchestra (the City of London Sinfonia) for a whole minute!

Scratch Chorus – 3.30-5pm – learn an opera chorus with one of the OHP Chorus Masters, before performing it on the OHP stage.

Conducting Classes – 12-3pm – have a lesson on how to be a conductor with one of the OHP conductors, and practice with a string quartet.

Alice Tea Party – 3.30pm – meet Alice and friends and join them for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

Exhibitions – Throughout the day we will be displaying our set models, costumes, and information on our education and outreach work.

There will be recitals from OHP singers, face painting, and much more throughout the day.
