#HyperCatCity (#HCC) is collaborating with the Greater London Authority (GLA) and Old Oak & Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) to drive forward the Smart Strategy of the UK's largest regeneration project. This collaborative initiative aims to create a smart vision, strategy and roadmap for the redevelopment of the Old Oak Common and Park Royal area in London.
To achieve this, #HCC is hosting a series of thematic, interactive workshops at its new accelerator hub at the Urban Innovation Centrein London. The workshop, consisting of leaders and experts from the domains highlighted below, will explore how the OPDC can use existing and future technologies, and digital systems to regenerate Old Oak Common and Park Royal into a smarter city that benefits its residents, businesses, visitors and the environment.
This thematic workshop is called People Centric City. It will explore how citizens, businesses and visitors can be continuously at the center of designing, building and maintaining 'smarter' city services that meets their current and future needs. The output of the workshop will feed into a 'Digital Master Plan' for Old Oak Common & Park Royal area, which can drive the 'smarter thinking' behind addressing the growing urban challenges throughout the world.
The workshop will not only inspire to build the foundations of a 'smart city' for London, but also inspire to test ideas and showcase solutions to the UK and international markets, and create a new value web for smart technology by connecting organizations to decision makers, influencers and business partners.
