Some remarkable shifts in culinary style and table display occurred in the early eighteenth century both at court and in the houses of the nobility. Join food historian Ivan Day as he investigates the evolution of royal dining, the nature of the food itself and how it was served at the table.
Please note, the lecture will start promptly at 13:00. Entry to 'The First Georgians' exhibition at The Queen's Gallery is from 11:30 for you to view the exhibition before the lecture begins.
