Free FreeCentral control systems for mass transit railways and the introduction of modern processor-based signaling and interlocking systems in the Tube have led to international standards initiatives to harmonise both signaling and interlocking.
The new technology has in turn has led to Thales UK's Seltrac moving Block Signaling System. This talk will consider various aspects of the latest technology in the context of such systems.
