Free FreeDave Welsh will lead an informal workshop/discussion on the findings of the Britain at Work Project.
The B@W London project in west London has interviewed people who worked in all the major industries in west London 1945- 90 and many public sector jobs. We have collected many artefacts from people- photos, pay slips, leaflets, apprenticeship papers etc. The interviews focused on 2 main topics: the work people did (and how that changed in the post war era) and trade union membership/ activity.
