Travel disruption notes

From Saturday 15 January to mid May 2022, the Northern line will be closed between Kennington and Moorgate as part of major upgrade works. During this time, there will be no Northern line from Elephant & Castle. The Bakerloo line will operate as normal. Elephant & Castle Station is expected to be busy between 07:45-08:45 and 16:30-18:45. Please consider travelling at the quieter times for a more comfortable journey. For alternative access to the City, consider taking bus route 733, cycling or using the Thameslink services .

LONDON BRIDGE STATION: Please note that step free interchange between the Jubilee and Northern lines is partly at street level, in both directions. Lifts are available between Northern line and Borough High Street entrance then via Borough High Street, St Thomas Street and Joiner Street to the main Underground ticket hall from where lifts are available to/from the Jubilee line.

London Bridge Underground Station: From Thursday 15 July until mid April 2022, no down escalator from the Borough High Street entrance to the Northern line platforms. For fastest access to the Northern line, please use the main Duke Street Hill entrance.

LONDON OVERGROUND: Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 January, no service between Highbury & Islington and West Croydon / Crystal Palace / Clapham Junction. This includes Night Overground in the early hours of Saturday and Sunday morning (please use local London Buses night routes). Please use alternative London Overground services between Highbury & Islington and Dalston Kingsland except after 2215 Sunday. Use Southern Railway services between New Cross Gate and West Croydon / Crystal Palace. Replacement buses operate.
