History of New Cross Rail Station

27th Apr 2010	London Overground services took over from the London Underground on this day, following upgrades to the East London Line.
31st Mar 1913	Services operated by the London Underground's Metropolitan Railway started from New Cross and worked through to Kensington Addison Road via Kings Cross.
30th Jun 1911	On this day, East London Line passenger services south of New Cross station ceased.
Circa Jan 1854	The station is renamed New Cross at some point in 1854.
