Description

Visit the Woven Cities display to see the brand-new London Woven Crest alongside the crests from Amsterdam and Rome.

We have partnered with 75B who design the large woven ‘City Crests’, to celebrate London, the people who occupy it, and the brands that have a presence within the city.

Woven at the internationally renowned Textile Museum in Tilburg, the tapestries portray popular brands and icons that are ingrained in daily life. Shown for the first time, the London tapestry includes the Sex Pistols, Unilever, Bowie, and Paddington Bear. The other tapestries feature tributes to everything from ARTIS Zoo and Anne Frank to Fendi and the Museo MAXXI.

Visitors are invited to collectively draw up their own Crest, which will be shared through social media campaigns. Plus, the Museums gift shop will be exclusively selling A2 replicas of the London tapestry.
