Draw and Tour - Monuments and Sculpture Tour (including workshop)

Welcome to an evening of drawing with a dash of history in the peaceful space of Southwark Cathedral.
Artist Suzanne Pink will give a 20 minute workshop on using pencils for drawing. 
Then our Cathedral Guides will take you for a brief tour of the Cathedral stopping at five places to give you some time to sketch and observe the many monuments in the building. 
After the tour, the cathedral space is yours to enjoy. This is a chance to do a longer sketch, share work or ask for tips from our artist Suzanne.
Please note that we provide no equipment so please bring pencils and sketchpad and anything else you may require. Below is a list of suggested equipment:
Drawing pencils of different grades (e.g. 2B, 4B, 6B)
Soft art eraser
Pencil sharpener
Drawing paper (e.g. cartridge paper) or sketchbook
Clipboard / drawing board (A4)

Spaces are strictly limited so early booking is recommended.

FAQs
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The Cathedral is located a 5 minute walk from London Bridge Mainline and Underground Station.  A number of buses also serve the local area and other underground stations nearby are Cannon Street and Monument.
Unfortunately there is no parking available at the Cathedral.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
We will not be providing any equipment for this event so please bring all that you need but no easals please!

What is the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable unless this event is cancelled.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
