A fairly rare chance to dine, for a price, at Simpson’s Tavern in the evening hours.
The oldest chophouse in London normally takes last orders from customers no later than 3:30pm, but The Georgian Dining Academy runs occasional evening historical meals there.
Described as “an evening engaging in the frivolity, fun and fine dining”, places must be pre-booked and all drinks included, plus a three course supper, entertainment and dashes of history of the City and the Georgians throughout the evening, with music, poetry and song.
The rooms are candlelit, so it’s all rather atmospheric. Simpsons’s Tavern is usually open during the day only, so a unusual experience in a unique venue.
Dressing up as a Georgian is most definitely encouraged but not obligatory.
The Georgian Dining Academy invites you to join them on Thursday 10th December 2015 by booking here
