Come and join us for an early evening at University College London Observatory in Mill Hill exploring one of the greatest mysteries of the Universe; The Hunt for Dark Matter. We are opening our doors to a strictly limited number of tickets so that the general public can explore some of the content we are showing to schools during the day. Interested schools please contact the organiser to find out if any morning slots are still available.
We will have demonstrations, real-life researchers into dark matter ready to answer your questions and an opportunity to have a quick tour of the telescopes we have on site (and a peek at the night sky if the weather permits). Anyone from 9 to 99 will have something to see and do, as they learn about how dark matter is searched for and why physicists think it exists in the first place.
