Monthly opening of Gatton Park

The park at Gatton is approximately 600 acres in size. Of that 600, 260 of them are managed by The Gatton Trust, which includes the core features and gardens. The other 340 acres are now owned by The National Trust and are made up of mixed woodlands and open parkland.

The National Trust part of the park is open access and is open all year round. Where as the core 260 acres managed by The Gatton Trust is only open through specific events and open days.

While the park may have split ownership it is managed as a whole by the two Trusts to restore ‘Capability’ Brown’s vision of Gatton.

From February to October, Gatton Park is open to the public on the first Sunday of each month.

Refreshments available in Gatton Hall

Cost of entry: £5 per adult, children free. Dogs on a lead are welcome in the park and gardens. There are no debit/credit card facilities on site.
