The Bank of England Museum will be open from 5.30pm - 9.00pm offering a rare opportunity to visit out of regular opening hours.
There will be special talks throughout the evening giving visitors a unique insight into some of the most intriguing and fascinating objects. Visitors can explore the newly refurbished Banknote Gallery, which presents the story of the banknote and how they have evolved over the years, from simple paper receipts into the most sophisticated note that the Bank has issued to date.
Banknote experts will also be conducting short talks giving background information about our current notes, including the new polymer £5 note. Admission and all activities are free, and there's no need to book.
