Through engagement with parliamentary committees research can generate impact, which is both significant and far reaching, but quite often these channels are under utilised by researchers. This joint event brings representatives from the machinery of Parliament and those who have given evidence into conversation with researchers for an evening of lively insight and dialogue, in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
Speakers: • Chris Clarke, House of Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology • Victoria Charlton, House of Commons Select Committee on Science and Technology • Rebecca Purvis, The Royal Society • Prateek Buch, Sense about Science • Michael Kenny, Queen Mary University of London, The Mile End Institute (Chair)
