Settle back in your seats for a special screening of Piccadilly, a stylish evocation of Jazz Age London, ranging from the opulent West End nightclubs to seedy Limehouse.
Beautifully restored by the BFI National Film & Television Archive; and directed by E.A. Dupont, Piccadilly stars the screen goddess Anna May Wong as Shosho, a scullery maid in a fashionable London nightclub who rises to become the toast of London.
The film will be accompanied by a live musical performance from Stephen Horne, one of the UK’s leading silent film accompanists.
