Bob will tell us about the origins and history of England's first police force. This organisation was the precursor to the modern Metropolitan Police force. The River Division today is responsible for policing the tidal Thames and operates from its HQ on the river Thames at Wapping, where a small museum has been created by volunteers.

Bob is the Curator.
