Free FreeWe will be taking an easy walk around the immediate Tower Hill area. There are a few gentle steps with hand rails and plenty of benches to sit on. The District and Circle Lines are not scheduled to have any engineering work on 7th March.
Through the panels of ship's and people's names, The Merchant Navy War Memorials at Tower Hill tell the story of the Merchant Navy's contribution in WW1, WW2 and the Falklands War. Bryan Jones will present on some of the stories told by the memorial's names as well as discuss the creation of the memorial itself.
There is no need to book, just turn up and pay the guide on the day.
