Free FreeWalk with old maps round site of World’s first Pleasure Gardens 1661-1859. Along the way we encounter a Victorian church built with it’s own Art School, a hidden cottage from 1710 and the Gothic splendour of Doultons. We see how the Ragged School survived the widening of the railway.
