Conceived by Secret Speakeasy, a visionary production team led by the co-founder of Backyard Cinema and an executive producer from Immersive Everywhere, HUMBUG promises a Christmas experience like no other. Boasting world-class production design and narratives inspired by beloved Christmas songs, movies, and memories, HUMBUG offers an immersive experience of the highest caliber.
Amidst the pressures of the North Pole, Santa seeks solace in his favored dive bar, where Christmas joy (and sherry) flows freely, hoping to rediscover his jolly spirit. Guests, accompanied by some of Santa's dearest friends, are tasked with bringing their Christmas A-game in an interactive two-hour performance. Choices and interactions come to life, shaping a unique Christmas experience where guests play a pivotal role in restoring Santa to his festive glory.
Encounters with dive bar regulars, including a disgruntled waitress, a mailman bereft of his letters to Santa, and a rotating lineup of cabaret, circus, and musical acts, enrich the immersive journey. HUMBUG becomes the chosen escape for Santa himself, offering guests a vibrant Christmas world filled with festive lights, neon glows, mistletoe, and memorabilia.
