Historic England presents Picturing England, an outdoor touring exhibition to showcase their photographic Archive.
Historic England Archive holds nine million images that capture the changing face of England’s buildings, archaeology, landscape and social history from the 1850s to the present day. It is one of the largest archives in the UK, the biggest dedicated to the historic environment, and a priceless resource for anyone interested in England’s architecture, archaeology, landscape and social history.
Viewed collectively, its photographic collections record the changing face of England from the beginning of photography to the present day.
