Description

Following the phenomenal sold-out installation of Gaia in the Painted Hall in 2021, artist Luke Jerram returns to the Old Royal Naval College with his incredible artwork Museum of the Moon.

Set in the magnificent Painted Hall, the awe-inspiring large-scale display features minute detail of the lunar surface using NASA imagery, and a surround sound composition by BAFTA-winning composer Dan Jones.

Lean back on the visitor daybeds and gaze up to the beautifully illuminated landscape of the moon suspended high in the Painted Hall against a unique Baroque backdrop.

Discover the dark-side of the moon as you explore the Painted Hall. This astonishing display promises to be a must-see attraction this winter. A visit to the Painted Hall is always an extraordinary experience, but this Christmas and New Year, Museum of the Moon will make a visit with family and friends even more special.
