Description
This exhibition includes never-before-seen materials from the BFI National Archive and the Monty Python Archive.
When Monty Python’s Flying Circus burst on to British screens in 1969, it became a comedy phenomenon, catapulting its six members – Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin – to international stardom.
This exhibition takes us behind the scenes of their most well-known works and includes never-before-seen working papers, photographs, publicity and more drawn from the BFI National Archive and the Monty Python Archive.
