Description

"Hidden in Plain Sight" is UCL Library Services' free public exhibition highlighting underrepresented voices in our historic and modern library collections.

Across UCL Library Services, staff members, students, and volunteers have been working together to discover, record, and celebrate the diverse voices in our collections. Through several projects, overseen by the Library Liberating the Collections Steering Group, we have gained a better understanding of our collections and improved their accessibility. However, we are at the early stages of this important initiative and there is still more work to be done.

This exhibition presents some of the items that have been hiding in plain sight on our catalogues and shelves.

The exhibition is open to the public Monday - Friday from 10:00 - 19:00 and Saturday from 11:00 - 17:00. We also offer guided tours throughout the week.

Please note that this exhibition is stair access only. However, there is a video tour on our website.
