Description

The Carpentry Club is putting on a small exhibition of members and affiliates’ work. Come and see the kind of things we make, find out more about the club, try out the tools and get making.

Groups exhibiting include The Bethnal Green Men’s Shed (local over 50s gents); RenewEL Furniture Group (pallet furniture built by long-term unemployed); Switchback Charity Trainees (young male ex-prisoners); Carpentry Club members, students and staff.

Work includes birch and oak boxes, stools, chopping boards, picture frames, furniture and toys; cork products, sculpted bowls, security lockers, go-karts, skateboards, mobile theatre props and furniture made from old barrels.
