Description

To mark the 150th anniversary of Canada’s confederation, this display highlights our Canadian photographic collection.

Acquired between 1895 and 1924, these photographs were taken by a range of photographers providing a unique portrait of a young nation.

On show for the first time, the photographs reveal growing towns and wide open spaces with a diverse and changing population.
