Description
This is the final exhibition in a series of outdoor photographic exhibitions from acclaimed photographer Michael St Maur Sheil which have sought to introduce the public to the issues and events of the First World War.
This exhibition follows Somme 100 and Doughboys 1917-1918, this time turning attention to commemorate the role played by people of all races and creeds from over fifty countries around the world.
Large landscape images explore the theme of reconciliation by capturing how time and nature have eased the scars of war on the battlefields of the Western Front and how the impact and consequences of this global conflict affected all nations and societies involved.
