Description

An exhibition at London’s Kings Cross of 70 pictorial and historical photographic icons, celebrating the diversity of the Magnum Photos agency and how its photographers have born witness to major events of the last 70 years.

The exhibition charts a potted history of Magnum, including early photography by Magnum’s founding fathers, the introduction of colour photographers such as Harry Gruyaert and Bruno Barbey, through to the contemporary practice of photographers working in a more art medium, such as Alec Soth and Alessandra Sanguinetti.

Presented in the 90m long pedestrian tunnel with Allies & Morrison-designed LED-integrated light wall, in collaboration with King’s Cross.
