Open Day at Copped Hall

Visitors are able to explore both the Gardens and parts of the Mansion, including the Stables and Cellars, at their leisure. There are no guided tours but Room Stewards will on hand to answer questions.

The August Open Day also features the Essex Craft Guild and their regular Flower Show.

They also have, for the first time a Dog Show. Sarah Brown from Chews Dog Training will be running the dog show with a range of entry classes, including Perfect Puppy, Junior Handler and Waggiest Tail. Each class entry is only £3 and you pay on the day. So bring along your little (or not so little) dog to see if you can win. Dogs must be well behaved, kept on a lead at all times and are NOT allowed in the Mansion.

There are stalls, exhibitions, home-made and home-grown produce for sale. The Trust shop and our Book stall will also be open.
