Queen’s Baton Relay arrives in London

Witness the excitement as the Queen’s Baton Relay comes to the heart of the City after its journey through all 72 Commonwealth nations and territories.

In the run-up to this summer’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, this family-friendly event will give residents and visitors the chance to enjoy a range of fun sporting and cultural activities.

The free event in Paternoster Square, in the shadow of St Paul’s Cathedral, is running during the long Bank Holiday weekend of celebrations to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Pose for pictures with the baton, watch sportsmen and women do their thing, try out a Commonwealth Games sport for yourself, sample some street food and enjoy the atmosphere.
