This workshop by Assistant Librarian Melanie Strong will look at different databases for London history on Ancestry. It will cover London directories, Wills, Land Tax, Poll books, Electoral Registers, Rate Books, Records of the Poor (Workhouse records), School records and Freedom of the City. It will show how you can find the different databases, and what sort of information you can learn from these records.
