Free FreeThe Summer of 1868 saw massive disruption along the ancient ‘military road’ and ‘London Fen’, ancient neighbourhoods were being swept away. New technological challenges were confronted, playing out against powerful human dramas.
The Farringdon Flyover solved the age-old problem of ‘Heavy Hill’ and Fleet Valley congestion. Today new developments including the proposals for the Museum of London and Crossrail present a whole new dynamic.
