Help to build bird boxes at Walthamstow Wetlands during National Nest Box Week 2018
London Wildlife Trust is the habitat and wildlife delivery partner at Walthamstow Wetlands, responsible for working with volunteers to conserve and enhance the site's habitats for wildlife through practical conservation, surveying, education and community engagement.
To celebrate National Nest Box Week come and learn how to build nest boxes with London Wildlife Trust rangers and volunteers at Walthamstow Wetlands. Find out about the different species that use nest boxes in London while contributing to the conservation of wildlife on the nature reserve. The nest boxes will be added to the site and provide essential nesting space for young birds during the breeding season.
Tools and guidance will be provided. Over 16s only. Refreshments provided, please bring your own lunch. This is a free event but booking is essential. Click on the relevant link below.
If you are running late or have any other problems on the day Shirelle Hawkins can be reached on 07972 601 671 or shirellehawkins@wildlondon.org.uk
