From the coffee houses of the 1600s to electronic communication, walks include the story of Victorian postal reform, the growth of the GPO, the evolution of Mail Rail and the development of post boxes and telephone kiosks.
All GPO walking tours are led by trained and accredited guides for Clerkenwell and Islington, and the City of London.
No need to book, just turn up and meet the guide, who will be wearing a Cityguides badge.
