When the Twentieth Century Society came to visit Hornsey Town Hall, the members agreed it was an amazing building. It won awards when it was first built. These days it's a bit frayed around the edges, but still has all its original features.
Hardly used for 15 years it's now opening its doors to the public with a community project, Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre.This is a fantastic chance to see the hidden treasures of 1930s modernism, and discover the history of Hornsey's iconic HQ and Assembly Room.
