History of Crayford Rail Station

Circa Jan 1968In 1968 the station buildings were completely rebuilt using pre-fabricated CLASP structures.
Circa Jan 1955In 1955 both platforms were lengthened to accommodate ten carriage trains.
Circa Jan 1926A footbridge was provided at the eastern ends of the platforms in 1926 when the railway was electrified.
1st Sep 1866The station opened on 1st Sept 1866 as part of South Eastern Railway's (SER) "Dartford Loop Line".
