History of Chislehurst Rail Station

1st May 1868Passenger trains finally began running through to Tonbridge and beyond from 1st May 1868.
2nd Mar 1868On 2nd March 1868 a new station was opened 600 yards south of the original on completion of the cut-off to Tonbridge.
1st Sep 1866The station was renamed plain Chislehurst on this day.
1st Jul 1865The station opened on 1st July 1865 and was originally named Chislehurst and Bickley Park.
