History of Carshalton Beeches Rail Station

Circa Jan 2012Step-free access was provided to the London-bound platform only in 2012.
Circa Sep 2010The station foyer was completely redesigned in September 2010 to allow a larger ticket office and for electronic ticket barriers to be put in.
1st Apr 1925Due to line electrification, the station was rebuilt and also renamed Carshalton Beeches, with the new station opening on 1 April 1925.
1st Oct 1906The first station at this location opened on 1st October 1906 as a small "halt" called Beeches Halt.
