Description

Inspired by Crossrail, this is a selection from the photographic project tracing the route of the new Elizabeth Line across central London, recording people and places encountered along the way. Closely following the route of the newly tunnelled line below, photographs record happenings on the surface above.

These images are complemented by inclusion of photographs of Crossrail construction activities on the new line and stations. Geographic coverage runs from North Kensington in the west to Stratford and Abbey Wood in the east.

Over 1800 photos taken from March-October 2017 have been edited by Brian Steptoe FRPS to produce a photobook containing 111 images.

The Exhibition comprises a selection of photographs from the project. Book information is also displayed.
