Free FreeEscape to a tranquil oasis of sound without even leaving the City – nonclassical are bringing the best new classical and experimental music to the City skyline for two free events.
On Thursday 25 July, The Garden at 120 is the place to be – a 15th-floor rooftop jungle big enough to get lost in. There will be performances all across the rooftop garden, featuring classical guitarist Sam Cave, saxophone radicalism from Ben Vince, and solo violin from Japanese artist Chihiro Ono and Ligeti Quartet violinist Mandhira de Saram.
Composer and nonclassical founder Gabriel Prokofiev presents, with genre-bending DJ sets to accompany the stunning vistas of the city. Entry to the event is free on a first come first served basis.
