Vita and Virginia had a brief but ardent affair in the 1920s which is widely considered one of the greatest love affairs of the 20th century. Sarah has drawn on their art, poetry and personal correspondence to describe the lives of two women who redefined conventions of femininity, sexuality, art and politics for the modern world.
Join us to hear Sarah Gristwood discuss the relationship between Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West, explored in her recent book Vita and Virginia, followed by a Q&A session.
