Engineering Late

Engineering Late will return for a night of exploration, extravagance and entertainment finding out how our complex capital works.

From 18:00 to 22:00, the public are invited to come, see and interact with the world of engineering.

Hear about two of the biggest Infrastructure projects happening in London right now, Tideway and Crossrail; get hands-on with creative activities, explore ICE's Invisible Superhero Exhibition, listen to live jazz, take a tour of our magnificent Grade II listed Edwardian Building- One Great George Street and much more.

Joining us in the Telford Theatre will be:

• Andy Mitchell, CEO of Tideway – Learn about the new 25km sewer under the River Thames and its mission to clean up the river from sewage for the benefit of Londoner’s and its wildlife. With Tunnelling already begun, hear from ‘Infrastucto’ Andy Mitchell leading the charge of the Five Billion Pound Super Sewer.

• Howard Smith, Operations Director at Crossrail, soon to be Elizabeth Line. With a matter of months before it goes officially live, hear about what the passenger experience will be like on the new Elizabeth Line.
