Free FreeHundreds of Londoners will gather at Parliament Hill on Hampstead Heath to battle it out for the 17th annual Hampstead Heath Conker Championships.
The championships have been a regular staple on the London calendar and in 2011 the event won the Guinness World Record for the largest conker championships in the world with 395 participants.
The event is free to attend and the resident Conkermeister will officiate. Competitors can register at the Parliament Hill Bandstand by 14.30 to take part. Conkers will be provided.
There are five categories for competitors, including Under 5s, 5-7 years, 8-13 years, 14-17 years and 18s and over.
The winner for each category will receive the coveted golden conker and certificate to commemorate their victory.
