A group of our finest historians paint a portrait of Britain at the time of Magna Carta, and of the stratified society of elites and commoners who had dramatically different rights and freedoms.

With Helen Castor (author of Joan of Arc, and She Wolves), Dan Jones (The Hollow Crown, The Plantagenets) and Marc Morris (King John: Treachery, Tyranny and the Road to Magna Carta, The Norman Conquest).
